Interactive Digital Wayfinding – The Basics

Here2There Software is an interactive wayfinding application accessible by kiosk, web site and smart phone. H2T provides directions internally and externally, meaning users can find their way on campus and in doors. H2T is also 508 compliant, meaning that it has been adapted to suit the
needs of the handicapped.

a. Users are able to search for department, professor/doctor/staff member/etc, or services

b. There is a button on the touch screen that handicapped users can press. This changes the interface to better suit their needs.

c. Users can scan a code and have their directions available on their mobile phones

d. Back office – changes/additions to directions can be made easily with our back office maintenance tool

e. Different languages can be integrated

f. Directions either internally (in buildings), externally (building to building and outside campus), or both

g. Include directions for parking, restrooms, etc

h. H2T can also have a ‘message board’ integrated, to alert visitors of events, scheduling changes, and anything else that may need announced.
